Axel’s first day of kindergarten!

Resurfacing for a moment . . .

I will be taking the summer off social media to heal from a mild traumatic brain injury. Tomorrow it will be two months since I was ⁣assaulted while hiking with my child at a local park; I was hit in my head with a weapon while running from the attacker. As the world around me slowly reopens I am reaching out to ask friends to text or mail me letters, and to be patient, at my slow response. This journey is hard, but I am brave. I miss you all. I miss performing and sharing music with you. I miss my brilliant beautiful mind and stamina. I hope to hit the ground running by Autumn. If I don’t hear from you this summer, I will see you then.
