Axel’s first day of kindergarten!

Resurfacing for a moment . . .

I will be taking the summer off social media to heal from a mild traumatic brain injury. Tomorrow it will be two months since I was ⁣assaulted while hiking with my child at a local park; I was hit in my head with a weapon while running from the attacker. As the world around me slowly reopens I am reaching out to ask friends to text or mail me letters, and to be patient, at my slow response. This journey is hard, but I am brave. I miss you all. I miss performing and sharing music with you. I miss my brilliant beautiful mind and stamina. I hope to hit the ground running by Autumn. If I don’t hear from you this summer, I will see you then.

Working this year - with my child and my music sharing my lap. Listening to lullabies I recorded for small humans. 💕

Dreaming of studio time again someday! One of the most challenging parts of the pandemic has been raising my small human in isolation and the overwhelming lack of time. Time to think, time to be alone, time to create - I long for that time again, more than anything.
