Hold on love, spring is coming. I am focusing on #beauty today, and #gratitude, and on moving forward after this long winter. What you are looking forward to today?
Another dreamy #synth image from Black Snake Root rehearsals. Keep an eye out for the videos on IG later this week. I am so proud of my partita for voice and electronics, composed in collaboration with my extraordinary friend @bitshapesoft.
I love this dreamy rehearsal pic from two years ago, a snowy February in a high rise studio. Kevin and I were composing our new piece Black Snake Root. I am excited to share more photos and videos of our work this week! Creating Black Snake Root made me feel confident as a composer, in ways I never had before - embracing a genre defying identity, at home in the space between everything.
Here I am working on HUSH, lullabies for small humans. I started writing and researching this music when my son was born, and I hope to release it soon.
I teach electronic music - here’s my view of my student’s DAW as we work together via #zoom. Feeling #grateful to be able to continue mentoring young artists this way. 💕
Winter warriors.
